Company
Lambda Research Corporation is a worldwide market leading supplier of optical design software and services to engineers and scientists. Its software tools, TracePro and OSLO, enable product innovation and research discovery in the following markets:
Lambda Research sets itself apart as a cost effective, single source for optical, opto-mechanical and illumination design software solutions. Its products include - TracePro, highly differentiated by its ease-of-use and accuracy and OLSO, renowned for its power and flexibility in optical design.
Lambda's staff has decades of expertise in optical design, opto-mechanical and systems engineering and analysis, stray light analysis, illumination design and analysis, and software development.
The Technology BridgeLambda Research Corporation was founded in 1992 with the mission to establish a technology bridge between optical and mechanical engineering. The result was the company's first product, TracePro - that is still today the leading opto-mechanical design solution for its short learning curve, intuitive user interface, and interoperability with commercially available mechanical CAD software. In 2001, Lambda Research extended its offering to better serve the optical and lens design community by acquiring the OSLO product line from Sinclair Optics. In 2006, the technology bridge was reinforced with the launch of TracePro Bridge for SolidWorks , an add-in for SolidWorks that allows users across optical and mechanical engineering disciplines to effectively manage design workflow within SolidWorks.
Innovation through Education
Lambda Research supports the propagation of innovation, technical expertise and community service through active participation and leadership in prominent organizations and technical societies. Its University Program fuels the growth of future engineers and scientists by providing software and course materials to educational institutes worldwide. |
