Each TracePro release adds capabilities, performance improvements, and fixes across the ray trace engine, source and property libraries, and CAD interoperability. The complete change list for every version is maintained in the TracePro Revision History. If you are updating from an older major version, review the Update Guide before installing.
Before you install
TracePro runs on 64-bit Windows; check the TracePro Computer Requirements before upgrading, particularly for GPU-accelerated photorealistic rendering and large Monte Carlo simulations. Installing a new version does not remove your existing properties databases, but backing up custom property databases and macros before a major upgrade is good practice.
Older versions
Need an earlier installer, manual, or installation guide? See TracePro Past Releases. Releases prior to 18.1 are no longer supported.
