RayViz Current Release

This page hosts the current production release of RayViz™, Lambda Research's SOLIDWORKS® add-in for tracing and visualizing rays directly in your CAD model. RayViz shares its release cycle with TracePro, so the current versions match. If you use both, update them together for full model compatibility. Update eligibility depends on your maintenance and support subscription; see the Support Policy.

RayViz and TracePro together

RayViz lets mechanical and optical teams work from the same SOLIDWORKS model: apply optical properties, trace rays, and validate packaging in CAD, then hand the model to TracePro for full Monte Carlo simulation, irradiance mapping, and stray light analysis. Learn more on the RayViz product page.
